Your life doesn't get better by chance, it gets better by change
There are a lot of contrasts in this world but people usually only realise when they get out of their bubble and explore. Moving around and trying different things give you a lot of perspective. I have experienced both European and American working styles, Enterprise vs Startup environments, lived in a couple of quite different cities, traveled a little and met many amazing and interesting people from all around the world on the way. I want to share what I have learnt regarding leading teams, living abroad, working in technology, cultural exchange and travel, may be more let’s see.

I read the book “Lean In” by Sheryl Sandberg and while I don’t necessarily agree with everything said in it, I did identified myself many times while reading. The most important thing that I realised is that many of what I was reading was not new to me but had not really crossed my mind to talk about it, it was not really on a conscious level, it was just there in the back of my head. I found my self with the book in my hands saying “Oh that’s true”, “Yeah, I’ve been there”, “Agree, it happens” , etc. Writing and Reading are not only good for learning but help reinforcing things you have already learnt some other way, the beauty is that once you are conscious about it, it becomes actionable to share, reinforce or extend, by all means more valuable than some learning in the back of your head. So I thought I would give it a try and write a blog.

The last years have been a steep learning curve for me, I have learnt so many things in such a fast pace that it has became a nest in my head. In this blog I plan to unfold it and share it, hopefully someone will learn or get something answered and I certainly hope to keep learning too.

Posts coming are something like “Keys to build an efficient team”, “Health culture at work”, “The art of getting feedback”,”Cultural shock, living abroad”, “Expats breeds”, “Leadership is no cookbook” and many other.

Enjoy, share, comment
